inTEAM Associates, Incorporated brings to you a new perspective in foodservices. It is a consulting company specializing in school foodservices. We bring to years of experience, professional expertise, and growing corporate resources. It takes only ONE TEAM to make a difference-inTEAM. We are dedicated to keeping your cost down and your participation up.

Gertrude Applebaum was foodservice director at Corpus Christi, Texas, and past president of the American School Foodservice Association. She is an innovator and early adopter of centralized kitchens and efficient operations winning her the IFM Silver Plate Award. Gert has written many articles for publications such as Food Management and Restaurant and Institutional Management magazines. She joined inTEAM as Vice President in 1992 and she "retired".
Julie Boettger joined inTEAM from School-Link Technologies where she held several positions including Director of Training, Director of Major Account Support, and Program Manager. She was a former Foodservice Director at Rich Township Schools (Illinois) and a Trainer and District Foodservice Supervisor at Chicago Public Schools. Julie is a Registered Dietitian and has a Master's Degree in Instructional and Training Technology. Her background in automation and nutrition adds diversity to inTEAM services.
Elaine Hunt Elaine Hunt retired as Child Nutrition Director of Wake County Public School System, North Carolina, after 30 years of employment. Elaine used her MBA to run a progressive, financially sound, and technologically advanced foodservice program. Her emphasis was on providing training for all employees. During her tenure with Wake County, Elaine developed a Management Training program for cafeteria managers. In a fast growing school district with more than 115,000 students, she also created the “Training Specialist” position to give further training assistance to schools. Elaine is a credentialed School Nutrition Association member. She held many offices in the NC School Nutrition Association including Membership chair, Secretary, Vice President, President Elect, and President.
Claudie Phillips Claudie L. Phillips , President of CP Professional Foodservices, Inc. and Founder of The ICONS Foundation, joined inTEAM in April 2005 as a consultant. She was a former Assistant Foodservice Director Manager of Nutrition Services of the Chicago Public Schools for sixteen years. Claudie has a Bachelor’s degree in Home Economics and Holds a Master’s Degree in Education. In 1996, Claudie was awarded the Jessie Be. Deloch Achievement in Business Award by the Minority Business Opportunity Committee, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Food and Consumer Service. Her background and experience in Foodservice Management, Marketing and Community Outreach brings another dimension to inTEAM services.
Cyndie Story M.Ed, RD, CC Chef Cyndie is a registered dietitian, and certified as a chef with the American Culinary Federation. She has over fifteen years experience as a food service director, supervisor, and trainer in the field of school foodservice management and nutrition. Chef Cyndie specializes in providing food demonstration classes, hands-on quantity food production classes, safe food handling (ServSafe) certification, and HACCP courses. She is the author of The Produce Manual: For Healthy School Meals. A training manual designed to teach school foodservice professionals improved ways to prepare and serve fresh fruits and vegetables for children.
